Les Gorges de l’Ardèche

This is an exceptional site, not to be missed, and not to be missed.

The Ardèche gorges, a major tourist attraction in the Ardèche, can be visited by car, on foot or by canoe.

To visit this nature reserve, classified and protected since 1980, you will follow a 22km long canyon at the bottom of which flows the river Ardèche.

To begin your visit, 5km from Vallon Pont d'Arc, you will have a spectacular view of the Pont d'Arc, a natural arch that spans the river at a height of 60m.

Then you will cross a magnificent landscape, with its limestone cliffs hollowed out by caves where our beautiful Ardèche river meanders.

The Mediterranean vegetation is varied with more than a thousand plant species. There is also a wide variety of animal species such as the Bonelli's eagle, the Peregrine falcon, the otter...

Numerous outdoor activities are possible such as hiking, canoeing, caving and fishing....
